Vacation

I'm on vacation at my in laws - so I don't know if there's a package waiting for me when I get home. I do know that Emma Gorodok has recieved her package I've made for her.

Summergame # 6

So our beloved Headmistress has made a potion - but which one? It contains Powdered Moonstone and Syrup of Hellebore.

This immediatly made me think of: The Draught of Peace, a potion made taught for 5th years O.W.L - the efferct: calms anxiety and soothes agitation.

For the 2nd potion our Headmistress has made a Mandrake Draught that will revive petrified people.

The 3rd potion would you give someone if you wanted to hear nothing but nonsense coming from them. What potion would that be: Babbling Beverage

For the next potion it was Jordan Lee that was suggested to use this potion by the Weasley twins. The potion's Murtlap Essence

A week already??!!

Has it really been a week since last post?! Noooo.... I'm sure I eeehhh.... 23+7=30... Hmmm I guess it has been a week. How come it's so hard for me to get new posts out in time? All I do all day is sit on my fat ass and look at the puter... some times I knit too. So WHAT do I do with the puter all day?? Well - the past few days I've been doing research for my Bachelor, does that count as work? It does - doesn't it?!
I've also finished this cute sweater - what do you think of that?

I'm still a bit effy - I think it's the Flu, Swineflu perhaps.... ;) Nooo - let's hope not, if so they just end up closing DaneBaby's daycare and THEN WHO's going to look after her from 9-14.30?

No summergame from me - sorry

I'm so very sorry my fellow-cabiners, but I will not be posting any summergames this week - I didn't have time to sit and make the word-puzzles.

I've been working hard none the less... On my packages for the HSKS and I'm close to done. I won't be making all the items I've planed - it just turns out that there's not enought time to make it all - and I would probaly have to send more than one package if I did so.

I've made DaneBaby a witches hat that I'm quite pleased with... I don't think she likes it too much though... Oh well - that's the pain of living with your parents and being under age, right?! You'll just have to put up with every stupid idea they get and there's just not a thing you can do about it.

Blue as the Summersky

To create this tasty non-alcoholic drink you'll need:

2 cl blue Monin, a blue syrup
4 cl pineaple juice
Sprite
a cocktail cherry
ice
a straw
and a thin, tall glass

Add ice syrup and pineaple juice, in that order!
Fill up with Sprite, add the cherry and the straw

DH's been away from Sunday - Wednesday, he's been to France - so I've been joggling everything alone. DaneBaby's still just adapting to daycare, so she's there for no more than a few hours at the time. Tuesday she was at the center for an hour - alone for the first time. Wednesday she was there from 9am-11am. That gave me 2 hours alone. Thursday she had a fever, so she was home - all day. Today Friday was her longest day so far - I dropped her off at 9 am and picked her up 12.15pm. It sure feels like I'm spending most of my time going furth and back to the daycare-center.

I did finish 1 mitten - and a Hogwarts student hat and a baby-skater-hat. I'll post pictures soon. How did I find time to finish all this??? I have no clue.

Tomorrow DH's going to an outside birthday-party. It's really rainy these days - which means I'll be home, alone, with DaneBaby....... Again. I kind of feel like I'm a part-time single-mum.

Monday I'm getting her vaccinated for Chickenpox - there's an oitbreak in the daycare-center and I'd like to avoid daneBaby to catching it too.

All in all... there's been some progress - both in my knitting (and Crocheting! As I've done my first crochet object) and in DaneBaby's adjusting to daycare.
